Sheepshank Beanie

Sheepshank Beanie

If you are game for a little different technique then this is the pattern for you. Don’t worry Sheepshank beanie is fun and simple. Simply a different spin on your typical rib look.

Surprisingly quick for DK weight with a folded brim gives this design that classic look that is great for everyone.

The name is inspired by a type of knot called sheepshank and is a simple knot useful for temporarily shortening a rope. It is made by making a double loop in the rope and tying a half hitch at each end.

This pattern starts from the bottom up and keeps your attention throughout the entire process.

Enjoy and Happy Knitting!!
